How many guests can each treehouse or cabin sleep?

Every treehouse and cabin at Cricket Hill is built for two, with one king bed. At Waterview Lodge, suites #1 and #2 have two bedrooms and sleep up to four, while suites #3, #4 and #5 sleep two. At heart, Cricket Hill is a couples’ getaway — with a couple of larger suites for small families or friends traveling together.

Do all the treehouses and cabins have hot tubs?

Every treehouse and every cabin has its own private hot tub on the deck. At Waterview Lodge, suites #3, #4 and #5 have a private outdoor hot tub — while suites #1 and #2 have an indoor Jacuzzi tub instead of an outdoor hot tub.

Are the hot tubs private?

Yes. Every hot tub is private to your stay — set on your own deck or balcony, surrounded by woods, and never shared with other guests.

What’s included in each stay?

Every stay includes a cozy fireplace, fresh linens and towels, and Wi-Fi, in a comfortable, self-contained space — and each listing spells out its own amenities. Our treehouses and cabins each add a full kitchen, a private hot tub, a smart TV, air conditioning, an outdoor fire ring or fire pit, and a covered deck or balcony. The Waterview suites add a private balcony over the pond, with either a private outdoor hot tub or an indoor Jacuzzi. A few suites differ — for example, Waterview suite #5 doesn’t have a full kitchen — so check each unit’s booking page for the details.

Is there a pool or fitness center?

Yes. Every Cricket Hill stay includes access to off-site resort amenities at The Club, hosted by nearby Berlin Resort — including a swimming pool and a fitness center.

Where exactly is Cricket Hill located?

We’re at 5731 Township Road 351, Millersburg, Ohio 44654 — tucked into the wooded hills just minutes from Berlin, in the heart of Holmes County. This is Ohio’s Amish Country, the largest Amish settlement in the world, with cheese houses, farm bakeries, antique shops, and the Amish Country Theater all a short drive away.

What is there to do nearby?

Plenty. Catch a show at the Amish Country Theater, sample award-winning cheese at Guggisberg and Heini’s, tour Yoder’s Amish Home, feed exotic animals at The Farm at Walnut Creek, or spend the day antiquing in downtown Berlin. See our Amish Country guide for our full list of local favorites.

Are pets allowed? Can I smoke?

Cricket Hill is pet-free and strictly non-smoking, indoors and out, so every stay stays fresh and clean for the next guests.

Is there a minimum stay?

Minimum stays vary by season, by unit, and around weekends and holidays. The live booking calendar always shows exactly which dates are available — no guesswork.

How do I book, and what does it cost?

When is the best time to visit Amish Country?

Amish Country is lovely year-round — spring blossoms, lush green summers, brilliant fall color through October, and quiet, cozy winters by the fire. Fall weekends are the most popular, so book those well in advance.
